The Cultural Life Raft experience is a two hour program that focuses on personal stereotyping as it relates to cultural and ethnic identity.  Participants are fully engaged from the start as they are faced with a treacherous decision or their raft will sink and everybody aboard will perish.  There's just one problem though; the participants are not making decisions as themselves, but rather from another person's perspective.  Right from the start, this fun, engaging, and oftentimes zany experience immediately uncovers individual stereotypes and perceptions that participants have of other groups.  The experience includes a group guided discussion that explores the impacts of these stereotypes on inter-personal relationships in the workplace.
